THE HOTEL
An international level 4 star Hotel, completely renovated in 2011-2012, setting new quality standards in Cape Verde’s capital. Having a minimalistic architecture, the building is partially covered in local volcanic stone. Warm ambiance and, above all, safe environment, thanks to the 24h security service.
Also equipped with a 400 KVA power generator (covering 100% of the hotel’s needs), and a desalinization plant, allowing the hotel to be free of external suppliers failures.
Equipped with an internal optical data cable, Wireless & cable Internet in all rooms and public areas are high speed and free of charge.

LOCATION
The Hotel is located in a small cliff directly overlooking the ocean, and at just 200 meters from the city’s main beach and in the center of Praia’s noblest area, “Praínha”.

The Pestana Tropico Hotel has 93 large and comfortable rooms: 39 standard rooms’ with sea/pool view (32 of them with balcony), 45 total sea view rooms with 2 mts width windows and 1 room for handicapped persons. Also available 8 suites, with diverse typologies: 5 classic, 1 (very stylish!) with mezzanine, 1 panoramic and 1 junior suite.
All the rooms have large areas, a desk suitable for work (plus ergonomic chair), with the exception of suites, which feature a double bed.

Located in the ground floor, elegantly decorated, with capacity for 100 persons, our Restaurant is considered one of the best in the Island thanks to its fresh food and service. “ISLET”BAR
A Bar overlooking the pool and the ocean. International cocktails and Cape Verde traditional drinks, snacks and light meals available all day long. LCD video projector.

Five meeting rooms, with capacity from 20 up to 200 persons, located in the ground floor and first floor.
